Responsibilities

Performs x-ray procedures, limited to the scope of certification, by applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis at technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail

Demonstrates the ability to meet the needs and provide service to all age groups-infancy through geriatrics

Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations

Assists and instructs patients during examinations

Assists with clerical and other duties as assigned

Reports all equipment malfunctions

Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use

Qualification

California Limited LicenseBLS CertificationRadiology experienceClerical experienceInterpersonal skills

Required

Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course

California Limited License required

Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required

Basic clerical and computer experience

Preferred

High school graduate preferred

One or more years of experience in general radiology preferred
