Responsibilities
Lead engineering stakeholder privacy engagement and privacy reviews
Analyze proposed code and data architecture for privacy requirements, perform technical project management with engineering teams to meet privacy requirements for products, features and systems
Collaborate with internal CTV Advertising business stakeholders, including product, engineering, legal, compliance and business teams, to understand unique privacy requirements
Engage in dialogue and foster partnerships to promote rigorous Advertising privacy practices
Lead Advertising Privacy training and awareness: Conducting training workshops to train engineers, architects and product teams on Advertising data privacy, responsible Advertising Privacy practices, and potential challenges associated with Advertising Privacy technologies
Perform Advertising Privacy reviews and assessments: Conduct regular audits and assessments of Advertising Privacy systems to evaluate their compliance with legal guidance standards and identify areas for impact improvement
Recommending and implementing corrective actions as needed
Maintain external partnership relationships and industry engagement
Engage with external organizations, industry groups, and regulatory bodies to stay updated on emerging Advertising Privacy practices and contribute to the development of industry-wide standards and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields. 6+ years of industry experience with a master's degree or 4+ years of industry experience with a PhD degree
Minimum 7 years data privacy experience with 2+ years CTV advertising privacy focus
Proven Subject Matter Expertise in data privacy principles, privacy engineering, US privacy regulations (CCPA, COPPA, etc.…), global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA, LGPD, etc.), and best practices
Demonstrated experience using Jira for ticket management, workflow administration, and reporting
Demonstrate ability to apply Privacy requirements to Advertising systems & applications
Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
Proficiency in creating and utilizing automations and templates to enhance communication efficiency
