Human Resources Director
N.C. Department of Information Technology is part of the North Carolina State Government, one of the state’s largest employers. They are seeking a dynamic, experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations, manage all facets of human resources, and serve as a consultant to employees and executive leadership.

Responsibilities
Manage all facets of human resources, including but not limited to classification, recruitment, benefits, time administration, employee relations, personnel actions, policy interpretation, and payroll
Serve as a consultant to OSFM employees and OSFM Executive Leadership
Qualification
Required
Thorough knowledge of comprehensive principles and practices of human resource management in designated areas; management concepts, principles, methods, and practices; state and federal rules and laws; equal opportunity guidelines, personnel administration; supervisory principles and practices
Experience in planning, directing, and coordinating the work and activities of staff
Experience with State Human Resources policies and personnel systems
Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in evaluating personal and confidential situations
Strong analytical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution and at least 5 years of experience in human resources, including 2 years of experience in an HR leadership position; or equivalent combination or education and experience
