Fractional CMO (Equity Heavy)
Nest Navigate is reinventing how homeowners discover and complete home upgrades, with a focus on building strategic partnerships. They are seeking a part-time CMO to lead their marketing and growth strategy, influencing brand positioning and investor narratives while preparing for a national rollout post-funding.
Responsibilities
Establish Nest’s brand narrative, messaging, and positioning
Lead early GTM strategy tied to Best Buy + incoming partners
Oversee early PR, brand awareness, and launch communications
Define growth strategy (paid, organic, referral, lifecycle)
Build initial funnels & analytics (CAC, activation, conversion)
Support investor storytelling for 2026 fundraise
Create a scalable marketing framework for post-funding execution
Help scope the future full-time marketing team and hiring roadmap
Qualification
Required
8+ years in marketing leadership (Director, VP, CMO, or Fractional CMO)
Experience with early-stage startups or launching new brands
Strong GTM, storytelling, lifecycle, and performance instincts
Ability to move fast and make high-quality decisions with limited data
Comfortable working part-time pre-fundraise with high equity upside
Preferred
Experience with consumer tech, SaaS, home services, or retail partnerships a plus
