Responsibilities

Building scalable data solutions that empower organizations to make data-driven decisions and prepare for AI-driven innovation
Engaging directly with teams across the enterprise to accelerate adoption, guide best practices, and create self-service resources such as reference documentation, reusable design patterns, and pipeline constructs
Collaborating with architects on optimal data architecture and risk posture
Building components and data pipelines in AWS and Snowflake
Partnering with engineers across the company to solve real-world challenges
Working with cutting-edge technologies like Snowflake, AWS, GitHub, SQL, and Python
Contributing to building scalable, secure data solutions that make a tangible impact
Providing on-call support as required

Required

Bachelor's degree plus 2 - 4 years related work experience or a Master's in a related field
Proven experience as an IT professional
Experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data platform enablement
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS services, and version control tools like GitHub
Ability to work directly with data and datastores through programming language such as SQL, Python, Java, etc
Experience with a variety of data modeling techniques and data structures
Ability to optimize data for analytics and data science
Experience building/operating systems for data extraction, ingestion and processing of large data sets
Knowledge and direct experience using business intelligence reporting tools
Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources
Basic planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required
Ability to collaborate with others required
Must be able to effectively communicate strategies and designs to all levels of the company
Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
May be required to provide on-call support

Preferred

Knowledge of financial services products and processes preferred
Basic leadership skills preferred
Excellent time management skills preferred
