GROUP PRACTICE MANAGER

Responsibilities
Serve as a principle advisor to service chiefs regarding all forms of administrative planning in support of healthcare operations
Perform analysis and provides business perspective for assigned service
Serve as Group Practice Manager (GPM), supporting high quality, accessible, and cost-effective health care services
Identify most resource-effective services, streamlining operations as needed and increasing efficiency
Assist service chiefs on optimization-related staff development, education and training
Qualification
Required
One year of specialized experience which includes performing clerical duties within a healthcare setting such as scheduling appointments in automated systems; identifying problems, such as data or system errors, to provide recommendations for improvements; collecting data from computerized databased for reporting data statistics
One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Public Health Administration, or Hospital Administration
Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%
One year of specialized experience which includes making recommendations on resources to meet service requirements for a healthcare organization; developing or preparing budgets based on operating procedures for a medical treatment facility; and assisting in the oversight of contract services as they relate to a healthcare servicing organization
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Public Health Administration, or Hospital Administration
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%
If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program
