The intern will be an integral member of the team responsible for Sourcing, Total Cost, On time Delivery, and Quality from suppliers, providing impactful value added projects.

Responsibilities
Develop detailed Standard Operating Procedures and Metrics
Develop and implement tools that gain productivity
Assist with staff with training and development initiatives
Implement continuous improvement initiatives
Build and implement strategy around Indirect Sourcing
Build and implement Supplier qualification and Supplier Selections process
Build and implement other productivity tools like Supplier Portal, e-auctions, or raw material market analysis template
Qualification
Required
A strong work ethic and ability to operate independently
Must have been accepted into Supply Chain Major and completed minimum two core major courses
Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
Technical aptitude and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
