Responsibilities
8+ years’ experience implementing QConnect/Edifecs solutions in mid-to-large enterprise environments
Develop software solutions using the .NET framework and related technologies
Design, develop, and configure enterprise applications on the QConnect platform (including Edifecs/JavaScript/SQL) to meet business goals
Hands-on experience with QConnect modules for 837 claims and encounter file processing
Engage in full SDLC: gathering business requirements, defining conceptual/technical designs, coding, testing, deployment and troubleshooting issues
Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical teams
Implement and manage QConnect modules for:
Electronic Claims Submission (EDI 837) – ingestion, validation, transformation, and routing of HIPAA-compliant 837 claim files (Professional, Institutional, Dental)
Claim Forms Module – converting 837 transactions into human-readable formats (CMS‑1500, UB‑04)
Encounter Management / Encounter Submissions – loading, validating, reconciling, and submitting encounter data to payer systems
Encounter Outbound Profile – configuring workflows for validation, mapping, routing, and error handling of encounter files
