Responsibilities

Assessing training needs, developing training materials, and delivering training for staff on the review of Erosion and Sediment Control (E&S) and Post Construction Stormwater Management (PCSM) Plans

Conducting both one-on-one training and group training, as the situation dictates

Responding to technical questions about the Chapter 102 construction stormwater program from county conservation districts (CCDs), DEP regional offices, the regulated community, and the public

Updating DEP's E&S Manual

Providing engineering assistance to other DEP programs that require E&S and PCSM as part of their permit process

Providing expert technical testimony for DEP litigation actions

Required

Two years of professional civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; or

Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; and an associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline; or

Six years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists

This position requires possession of a valid driver's license

You must meet the PA residency requirement

You must be able to perform essential job functions
