Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will be working with Software Systems Engineering to implement code expected run on a Kubernetes platform, integrate, and test the code with other scrum teams. The code will work towards customers objectives to demonstrate certain capabilities identified as risk reducers for the enterprise solution
Qualification
Required
Principal Software Engineer (T03): 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 years of relevant experience with Masters; 1 year with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Senior Principal Software Engineer (T04): 8 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 6 years of relevant experience with Masters; 4 years with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Active TS/SCI clearance required at the time of application
Experience with command and control
Experience in at least one object-oriented programming language
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Preferred
STEM degree
MBSE knowledge with CAMEO
Experience working in DevOps environment
Experience working with Kubernetes and Cloud deployments
Proficient in at least one common scripting language
Proficient with using any kind of messaging bus
Proficient with Atlassian tools Jira, Confluence, and Git
Understanding of Microservice architecture and design best practices
Experience working with either a relational database or bucket type database
Experience working with Containers
Experience with Software integration during development lifecycle
