The Guitar Center Company is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves guiding and training team members to meet production, quality, and service goals while ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining accurate product records.

Responsibilities

Assists the Supervisor by providing direction and training to employees within the work team to ensure production rates, quality standards, and service goals are achieved

Monitors team members for compliance with safety policies, housekeeping standards, and safe work practices

Keeps the Supervisor informed of production rates, training needs, performance issues, improvement opportunities, and personnel concerns

Performs production functions within the assigned work group at established performance rates as needed

Operates powered equipment to move, stage, or ship product as required

Accurately maintains records of product movement and task completion using the PkMS system

Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

Required

Working knowledge of PkMS or related Warehouse Management Systems

Ability to complete work assignments and projects in a timely and efficient manner with minimal follow-up

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to effectively give and receive instructions

Proven reliability and strong attendance record

Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to train and direct others to complete assigned tasks

Must demonstrate a positive attitude, integrity, support for company goals, and the ability to lead by example

Strong teamwork skills with the ability to encourage others to achieve department goals

Must be Guitar Center certified to operate powered equipment, or willing and able to obtain certification if selected

Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and inventory accuracy

High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Prior warehouse experience preferred

Prior leadership experience is a plus
