Responsibilities
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of purchased, in-process, and finished product using drawings, procedures, and work instructions
Inspect labeling and non-sterile products in accordance with documented specifications
Accurately record inspection results in the electronic quality database
Transact materials and inspection status in the inventory control system (JD Edwards)
Initiate quarantine tickets for nonconforming product and support prescribed nonconformance processes
Meet established productivity and quality targets
Follow all quality system procedures, safety requirements, and GMP standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required; some college or technical training preferred
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and maintain records
Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
Basic computer skills, including experience with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
Preferred
0–2 years of quality, inspection, or manufacturing-related experience preferred
Working knowledge of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, optical comparators, or video measurement equipment preferred
Basic understanding of machining processes
Familiarity with GMP requirements for Class II medical devices preferred
Knowledge of ISO 13485 preferred
