The Production Coordinator is responsible for performing administrative duties to convert engineering data into shop fabrication data and ensuring effective communication to the production line.

Responsibilities

Performs all clerical tasks associated with releasing a job into the shop
Creates applicable cut lists, bunking lists, fabrication drawings and electronic files necessary to operate the shop floor and the computerized manufacturing equipment
Creates job folders, Generates the shop drawings by work center
Batches jobs and creates cutting reports
Simultaneously creates the automated saw files and projection fabrication files
Releases job to production team, Updates scheduling status
Edits work order in On-Line Software for shop labor totals

Qualification

Truss fabrication experienceOn-Line SoftwareFabrication drawingsCut lists creationClerical tasks

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 18 months of truss fabrication experience
