Financial Analyst III - Finance Department - On Site/Hybrid Work Schedule

Responsibilities
Produces complex reports and analyses including financial, operational, quality and clinical areas
Develops financial models and ad-hoc analyses. Maintains and extracts various forms of data such as financial, statistical and clinical to generate reports and analyses to identify opportunities
Uses data to provide complex analyses. Develops a detailed understanding of ANTHC’s data systems including Infor/Lawson, Kronos, Cerner, Strata/EPSi, and Health Catalyst to assist with data generation, updates and data extraction
Assists with and may take lead on the generation of month end reporting, including coordinating department narratives on financial performance. Verifies reported data and researches variances. May be assigned to work groups or teams to develop solutions with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team. Leads testing of new system modules and upgrades
Reviews the projects and analyses of lower-level Financial Analysts. Acts as a mentor and trainer for less experienced team members. Responsible to document work and projects per department standards. This position works with data sources serving the needs of customers in one or more of the following areas: Population Health Management / Decision Support; Supply Chain; Planning; and Physician Contracting Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and accounting policies and procedures
Knowledge of applicable computer system software programs
Knowledge of healthcare operations including hospital and provider activities
Demonstrated skill in using Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated skill in using database querying and report building tools
Demonstrated skill in statistical and analytical concepts and tools
Demonstrated skill in working independently, multitasking, prioritizing projects and meeting deadlines
Demonstrated skill in using analytical and research skills to define and solve problems
Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others
Skill in written and oral communication
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or progressively responsible professional work-related experience
Non-Supervisory– Five (5) years of applicable professional experience
Preferred
A Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science Information Systems or a related field
