Sr. Finance Manager, Global Procurement

They are seeking a Senior Finance Manager for Global Procurement to provide financial leadership and business partnering to their global procurement teams, focusing on value creation and cost optimization for significant annual spend.

Accounting

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary finance partner to global category teams (Direct, Indirect, Logistics), providing financial insights and recommendations to support category strategies and supplier negotiations
Lead financial support for business planning, forecasting, and long-range strategic plans for all procurement categories
Collaborate with procurement and functional finance teams to ensure savings and cost optimization initiatives are accurately reflected in functional budgets and business plans
Support the development and implementation of procurement and financial policies to drive compliance and mitigate financial risks
Oversee annual standard cost setting, quarterly forecasts, and strategic planning cycles for all procurement categories
Develop and maintain financial models to assess the viability of global initiatives and support decision-making
Drive monthly consolidation and reporting of actuals, highlighting critical insights, risks, and opportunities to close gaps to targets
Ensure robust year-on-year cost change analytics and support global consolidation processes
Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor category performance, savings, PPV, investments, and payment terms
Provide clear financial insights to support decision-making and ensure alignment with overall business objectives
Lead benchmarking activities and market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for value creation
Manage and coach a team, supporting their professional growth and development
Foster a high-performance culture, drive talent development, and ensure the team has the right skills and capabilities to deliver on value creation goals
Champion process improvements and technology enablers to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
10 years of progressive finance experience, including supply chain or procurement finance, with experience managing teams
Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
Proven ability to partner and influence across global, regional, and functional teams in a matrixed environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of developing talent and driving results
Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in order to educate and influence a broad range of business partners including senior management
Ability to work in a fast-paced and matrixed environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail

Preferred
