Responsibilities
Maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and grounds
Assisting the Service Manager with managing expenses within the budget
Preventative maintenance and energy conservation
Ensuring residents receive superior service
Responding to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays
Working mandatory overtime periods and assisting at other residential communities when needed
Fostering harmony in the workplace and promoting a positive image of the company
Performing any other tasks as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years prior maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community
Must have experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
A proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate using clear, professional English
Knowledge of the safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products and supplies
Ability to navigate stairs and ladders, lift up to fifty pounds unassisted, and reach overhead and below
Flexibility to work mandatory overtime periods and assist at our other residential communities when needed
Availability to respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays
Must be willing to work on Saturdays
Foster harmony in the workplace and promote a positive image of the company
Any other tasks as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager
