The role involves leading budgeting and financial reporting, managing cash flow, and supporting real estate development initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of budgeting and financial reporting and make sure we comply with local, state, and federal regulations and tax laws

Improve and develop financial planning and analysis strategies

Manage cash flow and banking relationships

Improve internal controls to better protect our assets

Analyze financial systems and technologies and identify areas for improvement/optimization

Mentor high-performing finance and accounting staff

Support real estate development by analyzing multifamily developments financed by Low-Income Tax Credits, preparing projections, and measuring investment value

Create detailed pre-investment reviews and assist the quality control review committee

Ensure compliance and identify new opportunities regarding LIHTC and Historic Tax Credits
