Responsibilities

Directs and oversees all aspects of the system’s customer service policies, objectives and initiatives
Develops service level standards focused on reducing response times and providing a high level of customer satisfaction
Responsible for reestablishing policies and procedures that produce high quality customer service delivery and that reflect industry best practices
Implements systems to capture and report on service metrics, including any customer feedback or trends in service issues
Manages resource decision-making and planning and manages the department budget to meet the system’s financial goals
Aligns customer service activities and initiatives to support and enhance the objectives of the system
Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the department in line with the Health System goals
Creates and drives the strategy to impact customer satisfaction and process improvements
Supports system activities as a High Reliable Organization (HRO)

Patient Financial ServicesEpicLeadership experienceCertified Patient Account RepresentativeMicrosoft OfficeCustomer serviceOrganizational skillsSelf-motivated

Required

Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, or Finance strongly preferred
Must have at least four (4) years of progressive leadership experience related to Patient Financial Services
Must have experience with Epic, HBOC 2000 ADT/PA, Windows, and Microsoft Office

Preferred

Certified Patient Account Representative (CPAR), Certified Patient Accounts Manager (CPAM), is desired
