Responsibilities

Attend working group meetings related to the focused tasks

Write prototype and demonstration software

Write technical reports of the work

Conduct lab experiments as needed for project goals

Qualification

Software developmentDOCSIS knowledgePON networkingPythonReliability engineeringSignal processingTechnical writingPresentation skills

Required

BS degree in engineering, statistics, operations research, or related discipline, with experience in software and lab work

Software development experience and knowledge, lab work experience, strong writing and presentation skills, knowledge of networking technology and interest in reliability

Preferred

Knowledge in DOCSIS and PON networking and testing, knowledge of reliability engineering, and signal processing

Proficiency in at least one of Python, R, or Java

Well organized, detail oriented in documentation, excellent writing and presentation skills
