Sr., Engineer II or Engineer I- Generator Interconnection
Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is dedicated to ensuring reliable and affordable electricity delivery. They are seeking experienced engineers to join their Generator Interconnection team, responsible for performing electrical engineering analyses and project management in support of GI studies.

Responsibilities
Performing electrical engineering analyses and basic project management in support of the GI studies at SPP
Performing model development, power flow, short-circuit, and transient stability analysis in accordance with SPP’s Generator Interconnection Procedures
Effectively navigate engineering concepts and tools
Work within the SPP Tariff
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Exercise appropriate engineering judgment
Work well within the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a university that meets the requirements to sit for the Professional Engineering exam
Degree should be in a calculus-based engineering field
Five (5) years of job-related work experience for Senior level; Professional Engineer License may satisfy one year of experience requirement
Two (2) years of job-related work experience for Level II
No experience required for Level I
Preferred
Preferred degree programs are Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering
