Responsibilities
Creates new projects from a broad and multidisciplinary architectural viewpoint
Conceptualizing the required components
Oversees the entire system aspects and manages unavoidable “tradeoffs”
Delivers a complete and complex framework, system or product
Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility
Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes
Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses
Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives
Creates the installation manuals of the module and supports issue troubleshooting for new installation
Support on tasks as: part failure analysis & generate report. machine setup and system level testing
Guides and teaches lower-level employees
Qualification
Required
Above 5 years of experience in R&D or Product Engineering, Semiconductor equipment experience preferred
Wide-ranging experience with mechanical and mathematical modeling tools (Visual Basic, MS Excel, MATLAB, Python, Mathcad)
Wide-ranging hands-on experience – test set-up, troubleshooting, design of experiments, lab equipment, etc. (for example using test equipment such as laser displacement, thermal sensor, accelerometers)
Experience working with vendors and sub-contractors
Good written and verbal communication, interpretation and interpersonal skills
Flexible to changes in tasks and work environment
Must be organized, systematic, punctual, and goal-oriented
Strong leadership skill with ability to work with cross functional teams
Willing to travel on a need basis
Preferred
Solid modeling CAD software experience preferred
Master or above degree in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent is preferred
