Responsibilities
Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy
Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class
Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field
At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
Minimum of Associate's Degree (or equivalent college credits) in Elementary, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development (with at least 30 credits in the field)
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent college credits) in Elementary, Early Childhood Education, or Child Development
Preferred
At least one-year experience in Early Childhood Education (preferred - not required)
