Responsibilities

Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of real-time, closed-loop HWIL capabilities

Supporting program meetings, providing project status, and interfacing with a multi-discipline team

Designing, developing, and testing air vehicle software, firmware, and hardware, and integrating stimulation equipment into the HWIL facility

Debugging software, hardware, connectors, timing, and designs as part of the integration team

Integrating, testing, verifying, and validating the system and various subsystems

Using lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware and software failures in support of HWIL integration and testing

Interpreting customer needs, working with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and providing technical feedback to the team

Required

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM), or equivalent professional experience related to HWIL

Work experience with gathering customer requirements and developing design specs

Experience designing or integrating HW and SW, or experience with HWIL

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (US Citizenship Required)

Preferred

Experience as an engineer working with multi-disciplined teams

Experience performing Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and HWIL design and simulation analysis

Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses

HWIL real-time, closed-loop simulation experience is desired

Flight software integration and verification experience is also a plus
