Abacus Service Corporation is looking for an Internet/Web Engineer - Advanced to join Clemson University's Medicaid Information Technology Services team. The role involves developing and supporting the framework functionality of the State's EDI Services and the Medicaid Web Portal application.

Responsibilities

Assessing, designing, developing, supporting and implementing the State's Member Management replacement project and any other projects assigned
Design and develop enterprise level web-based systems, incorporating modern Web 2.0 technologies and mobility needs
Develop Java applications incorporating industry-standard frameworks where appropriate
Effectively implement and utilize modern Web-based software industry standards and best practices
Assist end-user and business analysts in turning business needs into incremental software development projects
Communicate with a broad mix of stakeholders involved in the information technology system replacement projects

Required

7+ years of experience with Tapestry
7+ years of experience with JavaScript

Experience with Java
Experience with UC4
Experience with ActiveMQ
Experience with Unix variants and Unix Scripting
Experience with SQL
Experience with MongoDB
Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience
