Responsibilities

Create accurate fabrication and installation drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor
Prepare detailed layouts, schematics, and bills of materials per project requirements
Ensure all drawings meet departmental and company quality standards
Complete drawings within the timeframes established by the Drafting Supervisor to support production schedules
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production staff to resolve design or fabrication issues
Support continuous improvement and contribute ideas for process and quality enhancements
Perform other drafting or design-related tasks as assigned by the Drafting Supervisor or General Manager

Qualification

Required

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor
At least 3+ years experience with Tekla/XSteel
Familiarity with AISC and ASTM specifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
Strong reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners
