Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, PE to join their Water Resources team in Jefferson. The role focuses on assisting project managers in design and construction phase activities related to water resources and agricultural drainage projects.

Responsibilities

Performs detailed design computations
Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design
Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies
Assists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepare cost and quantity take-off estimates
Assists with plan reviews, storm water pollution prevention plans, design of storm water facilities, storm water detention and retention design, water quality design, and storm water management planning

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, Biosystems, or Agricultural Engineering from an accredited college or university
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GIS
Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship
