Responsibilities

Guiding system development and implementation planning

Engaging directly with customers to address technical considerations, resolve issues, and manage potential conflicts

Communicating effectively with program personnel, customer stakeholders, and senior leadership

Serving as the primary point of contact for ensuring the technical integrity of all systems engineering work products and deliverables

Working within an agile development environment to implement features defined by user stories

Required

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph clearance required

20 years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required

Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required

Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required

Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

Demonstrated experience providing technical direction for an Agile development team

Duties will include: engineering, integration and testing of all components of systems to include requirements analysis and functional allocation, conducting requirement reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessments

Demonstrated ability to write system engineering documentation and be able to deliver technical presentations to large audiences

Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environment against both short- and long-term requirements

Candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, thorough, self-motivated, proactive and outgoing

Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse workforce and excellent organizational and customer service skills

Experience organizing and facilitating Sprint Planning using tools such as Jira and Confluence
