Responsibilities
Lead the organization’s long-term real estate and facilities strategy
Oversee comprehensive master planning and feasibility studies
Partner with executive leadership to align real estate decisions with strategy
Monitor market trends, zoning, and demographic shifts to inform planning
Lead initiatives from concept through completion, including acquisition and construction
Manage relationships with planners, developers, and consultants
Oversee project budgets, pro formas, funding strategies, and due diligence
Direct capital planning, space studies, and facility assessments
Champion sustainability, accessibility, and design excellence
Evaluate innovative approaches to environmental stewardship
Manage multi-year development and capital budgets
Develop cost models, funding plans, and revenue analyses
Secure financing, grants, and partnership support
Build relationships with government, community leaders, and partners
Represent the organization in planning meetings and hearings
Communicate project impacts and timelines transparently
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
7+ years of progressive real estate development leadership
Proven success with complex development and capital planning
Strong financial acumen and knowledge of zoning and permitting
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship skills
