Teaching Professor - Legal Writing
Mitchell Hamline School of Law is a leader in pedagogical innovation dedicated to expanding access to high-quality legal education. They are seeking qualified candidates for non-tenure-track faculty positions in their Legal Writing Program, which includes a year-long Legal Analysis, Research, and Communication course for first-year students.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a presence in the nationally ranked legal writing program
Teach across multiple modalities including in-person, synchronous online, and blended learning classes
Foster an inclusive and equity-centered teaching, learning, departmental, and research environment
Qualification
Required
Distinguished academic credentials, including a J.D. from an ABA accredited law school or a foreign equivalent degree
At least 3 years of practice and/or other relevant teaching experience
Experience with fostering or the ability to foster an inclusive and equity-centered teaching, learning, departmental, and research environment where all can thrive
Interest in continuing to develop and maintain a presence in the nationally ranked legal writing program
Availability and excitement about teaching across multiple teaching modalities: in-person classes, synchronous online classes, and in an innovative blended learning program
Commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive community aligned with the goals of equity and inclusion
