Responsibilities
Design and implement robust, scalable data models (Relational and Document-based) that align with business requirements and enterprise standards
Write and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
Perform deep-dive performance tuning using SQL Trace, TKPROF, and Explain Plans
Create and maintain Logical and Physical data models using tools like ERwin, Toad, or Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler
Assist in the strategy and implementation of MongoDB for specific high-velocity or unstructured data use cases
Design data migration strategies and ETL pipelines to move data between legacy systems, Oracle, and NoSQL environments
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for development teams regarding database best practices, indexing strategies, and schema design
Qualification
Required
Expert-level knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c, including RAC, Partitioning, and Advanced Security
Deep understanding of Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake schema), ODS design, and Master Data Management (MDM)
Proven ability to tune highly fragmented or slow-performing databases in high-concurrency environments
Proficiency in ER diagrams and architectural documentation
Preferred
Familiarity with MongoDB
