Assembly Support Technician
ASTEC is seeking to hire an experienced Assembly Support Technician to help us continue to grow. The role involves ensuring safety procedures are followed, interpreting blueprints, and performing assembly tasks using various tools and techniques.

Responsibilities
Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and the proper PPE is in place
Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and procedures
Use hand and power tools and torches for disassembly and reassembly of components
Use mics, dial indicators, feeler gauges and other precision measuring devices
Tack weld assemblies and measure to ensure dimensional accuracy
Final weld parts in all postures and positions
Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they occur
Qualification
Required
Must have knowledge in rigging and crane safety
Minimum of 5 years' experience with Mig and Oxy-Fuel torch
Must have strong attention to detail
Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
Must have a positive and professional attitude
Available to work weekends and overtime
Capable of standing for extended periods of time
