Responsibilities
Build complex models and entities in AFSIM reflecting real-world military systems
Create dynamic, realistic scenarios that simulate action-reaction interactions
Develop dynamic scripting techniques within AFSIM to control entity behaviors
Contribute to Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) study plans and execution
Coordinate with subject matter experts to translate technical and operational requirements into simulation models
Work closely with study leads and stakeholders to ensure study accuracy and relevance
Analyze AFSIM simulation results and present findings in written and oral formats
Collaborate with agile development teams to continuously improve simulation tools and methods
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship (Required due to security clearance)
Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility
BS degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related technical field
Minimum 5 years of relevant analytical experience
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AFSIM scenarios/models
Scripting or programming experience (e.g., Python, C++, etc.)
Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
Ability to apply the scientific method to diverse MS&A tasks
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Willingness and ability to travel when required
Preferred
MS degree in engineering, science, or technical field
Experience with STK, JMP, Python, C++, or R
Familiarity with modern military systems (foreign & domestic)
Prior experience with NGTS, OneSAF, LVC, or similar modeling environments
