The UI/UX Designer will assist in producing and maintaining designs for the Elite Alliance Exchange program, working closely with various team members to create engaging user experiences and visual designs.

Responsibilities
Take ownership of the design strategy, user experience, and customer journey, for the company's web platform
Conceptualize and produce sketches, prototypes, wireframes, and visual assets for desktop and mobile experiences
Assist in identifying new business and revenue producing opportunities regarding visual design and associated technologies
Assist with photo manipulation for use in digital (web, email) and physical formats
Meet regularly with our Systems Specialist and the operations team (Reservations Department) to solicit feedback and comments on membership experience, and assist with revenue generating initiatives
Assist Director of Web Development with special projects and tasks as required
Evaluate design solutions and implement updates that improve member experience, engagement, and usability
Communicate progress, questions, and potential issues clearly and promptly
Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service
Stay informed about current UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices, and actively seek opportunities to grow skills and knowledge
Qualification
Required
Experience and familiarity with responsive mobile web design
Knowledge of an agile software development process
Visual design skills to produce dynamic and rich interactive pages
Experience with front-end code development
One to two (1 to 2) years' experience in similar position
Experience with Photoshop, InVision, Sketch, Figma, and/or other similar design software
Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
1-year minimum design experience, HTML and CSS
Self-starter with strong self-management skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all new business opportunities are captured and explored, while maintaining the highest level of service for our members
Preferred
Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related discipline
Experience with CSS framework
Experience with Project Management
