Responsibilities

The intern for NTS will gain insight into the technical aspects of the production of our therapies
They will collaborate with a cross-functional team to increase commercial production and reduce process variation
The nature of projects will require data collection and interpretation to have a positive impact to process performance
The successful candidate will be able to communicate progress and status of project(s) clearly and efficiently

Required

Understanding of basic commercial manufacturing operations
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Candidate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular biology, Microbiology or other related field
Must be available to work full time, 40 hours a week
Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. based university or college and enrolled in the fall term after the completion of the internship OR have graduated within 1 year of the start of the program
Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship for on-site, hybrid roles

Preferred

Ability to compile and interpret data for process optimization
Ability to apply technical knowledge of biopharmaceutical processes (cell culture, purification, etc.)
Proven ability to independently manage work, actions, and expectations
