Responsibilities

Execute electrical testing of power distribution equipment including switchgear, panelboards, PDUs, and RPPs

Develop and maintain electrical test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria

Perform and oversee functional, hi-pot, insulation resistance, grounding, and load testing

Analyze test results and lead root-cause investigations for failures and nonconformances

Ensure compliance with UL, NEC, IEEE, NEMA, and customer requirements

Support UL witness testing, audits, and certification activities

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians

Troubleshoot test failures and production issues in support of manufacturing and quality teams

Participate in design reviews to ensure testability, safety, and code compliance

Drive continuous improvement of test methods, equipment, documentation, and lab processes

Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and customer qualification activities

Contribute to development of standard work, calibration practices, and test data management
