IMCS Group is seeking a Financial Advocate for their patient services. The primary function of the Financial Advocate is to perform thorough financial screenings of patients and serve as the contact for patient education regarding insurance benefits and billing processes.

Perform a thorough financial screening of patients

Ensure that all accounts have been cleared for billing

Obtain insurance authorization for services

Secure payment arrangements (including collection of co-payment/coinsurance) prior to patient discharge and for major outpatient services

Identify other potential payment sources (including Financial Assistance program, initiating/completing the Medical Assistance application process)

Provide costs estimates
