Responsibilities

Performs all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Works efficiently with personal computers and related software such as MS Office
Performs pressure calibrations on various pressure sensor types
Performs calibrations on temperature-controlled equipment such as furnaces, heated solution tanks, dryers, and other measuring devices such as flow benches
Works to internal and external specifications to ensure all compliance requirements are met
Properly utilizes and maintains all pyrometric tools and measuring devices
Tests, records, and analyzes results for internal and external review
Detects, evaluates, and implements improvements within the pyrometric discipline
Contributes to enhance the pyrometric online documentation and instructions
Assists in the training of other team members where expertise has been demonstrated

Required

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required
Demonstrates proper and safe operation of equipment such as, but not limited to, electronic measurement devices such a multi-meters, fabrication and use of thermocouples, master electronic measurement devices, ladders, work platforms with the appropriate safety equipment worn
Personal protection equipment includes, but not limited to, various types of gloves, safety glasses, full face shields, hearing protection, respirators, high voltage protection and fall protection
This person will be trained in accordance with the team's training matrix to build knowledge and expertise in all modules
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Works efficiently with personal computers and related software such as MS Office
Performs pressure calibrations on various pressure sensor types
Performs calibrations on temperature-controlled equipment such as furnaces, heated solution tanks, dryers, and other measuring devices such as flow benches
Works to internal and external specifications to ensure all compliance requirements are met
Properly utilizes and maintains all pyrometric tools and measuring devices
Tests, records, and analyzes results for internal and external review
Detects, evaluates, and implements improvements within the pyrometric discipline
Contributes to enhance the pyrometric online documentation and instructions
Assists in the training of other team members where expertise has been demonstrated
Performs physical activities that requires considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, significant walking between sites with equipment/carts, lifting 50 pounds, climbing, balancing, and handling of material with fall protection as necessary
