Responsibilities
Maintain all utility systems and operations in order to smoothly conduct all plant operations to ensure maximum business growth
Must be able to pass a hazmat physical, a pulmonary function test, a respirator fit test, and become a member of the plants hazmat/confined space team
Must be able to attend offsite training/schooling through Garden City Ammonia Program and Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association
Organize and maintain utility rooms, utilities parts storage, and utilities tool cribs to ensure maximum efficiency of all utility department needs when needed
Inspect all utility processes and perform preventative maintenance
Assist in training and writing of SOP’s and TP’s for plant utility systems
Coordinate trouble shooting and repair of plant utility processes with other internal departments of the organization
Comply with all plant policies, OSHA & EPA guidelines while conducting utility processes

Relocation is required, no relocation assistance is provided
Starting pay is based off qualifications, certifications and ability to qualify various levels

The Refrigeration Engineering Techs will also work closely with the PSM Coordinator in order to maintain compliance of all federal and state regulations regarding process safety and risk management
