Responsibilities

Will set up and operate both lathe and centerless grinders, and lathe cutters
Meet production standards for operation and set up
Make minor set-up adjustments
Adhere to quality specifications
Read and understand precision gages (micrometer and snap gage)
Develop SPC charts
5S
Adhere to TSD Parker policies and safety requirements
Participate on High Performance Team(s)
May be required to cross train onto other equipment at a future date
Other duties, as assigned

Qualification

Lathe operationCenterless grinder operationPrecision gage readingBasic math skillsHand tool usageRecord keeping5S methodologySPC chart development

Required

Knowledge of basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Basic reading comprehension skills
Must be able to use hand tools (such as Allen wrenches and screw drivers)
Keep accurate and legible records
Stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
