Responsibilities

Partner closely with the PrEP franchise sales leadership team, understanding their needs and providing guidance when needed
Partner closely with the extended matrix team, including cross-functional Market Development Directors, to maximize current analytics, systems, reports and incentive compensation strategies to identify and monitor growth opportunities
Propose a national plan to prioritize key regions, territories, and customers to achieve performance excellence of this product
Build trust with First Line Sales Leaders and Second Line Sales Leaders to co-create business plans and connect the dots across the organization while influencing support from home office teams
Proactively seek and maintain in depth knowledge of the industry, managed healthcare trends and the local marketplace and customer insights including, but not limited to, integrated healthcare delivery systems, physician organizations, HIV/AIDs organizations (ASO, CBO etc.), major employers and pharmacy networks
Ensure pull through of national sales, marketing and payer and access opportunities
Support the training team agenda and ensure consistency of messaging across the nation
Understand, interact and influence marketing, digital marketing, and payer strategies
Identify with clarity the size and ROI of opportunities to align with financial and sales goals
Maintain a deep understanding of customer insights and regional account environment including the specific PrEP community and ecosystem and then collaborate with the appropriate ViiV commercial stakeholders to maximize opportunities
Analyze area/regional business trends based on market dynamics
Ability to flexibly respond and make necessary adjustments to environmental changes such as generic intrusion, Managed Care formulary changes, State Medicaid, non-retail business and unique product opportunities is key

Required

BA/BS Degree & 10 plus years of pharma experience in sales OR marketing OR operations AND/OR analytics
3 plus years of Leadership Experience
Product Launch Experience

Demonstrated strong analytical profile of creating insights and influencing decision making
Highly proactive to bring a new perspective, challenge status quo and move the organization in the right direction
Demonstrated emotional intelligence and focus in GSK values: Ambitious for Patients, Accountable for Impact, Doing the Right Thing
Demonstrated capabilities to manage complex matrix organizations
Ability to synthesize and communicate messages to different audiences
MBA is a strong preference
Specific experience with injectables, HIV, and/or PrEP
Experience understanding HIV community and ecosystem
Candidates with Consulting background
Breadth of experience is highly valued
First Line Sales Leader experience
