They are seeking a Building Envelope/Enclosure Associate I to perform testing and consulting services, assist with project preparations, and interact with senior staff members on various projects.

Responsibilities

Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services

Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation

Performing field and laboratory testing

Assisting with preparation of reports, proposals, and projects

Assisting with projects as needed

Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects

Scheduling and oversight of facilities technicians

Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE

Required

High School Diploma or GED required

0-2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience required

In lieu of education, 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff Associate or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education required

Facilities certifications are required for all types of testing performed

All applicable certifications are required in accordance with the Technician Certification and Pay Policy

Preferred

B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET accredited college/university preferred

Experience with non-destructive testing preferred

Professional certifications (such as NRCA/IIBEC, AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector) preferred
