Senior Manager, Network Development

OpenNetworks is seeking a Senior Manager of Network Development to lead their provider growth engine. This role involves owning the physical expansion of their footprint, particularly in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, and requires expertise in healthcare contracting and recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

Market Expansion Strategy: Analyze geographic and specialty data to identify and prioritize "must-have" provider partners for the launch
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial prospecting and cold outreach to closing high-value partnerships
Complex Contracting: Lead negotiations with various provider types (e.g. Health Systems, Hospitals, facilities, mid-sized multi-specialty groups and IPAs), managing bespoke rate structures and contract language to ensure mutual value
Network Adequacy Ownership: Ensure the developing network meets all appropriate standards for accessibility and specialty density
Product Collaboration: Translate provider feedback into actionable product requirements to improve our platform’s value proposition and ease of use
NET DEV Playbook Development: Document and refine our "Network Development Playbook," creating a repeatable process for entering new metropolitan areas
CRM Management: Maintain high-integrity data in HubSpot/Salesforce to provide leadership with real-time visibility into the recruitment pipeline

Required

5–8 Years of Experience: Proven track record in provider recruitment or network development, preferably within a high-growth health tech startup or a major payer (e.g. BCBSTX, United, Aetna, Cigna)
Expert Negotiation: Demonstrated ability to close sophisticated, multi-million dollar contracts (e.g. Health Systems, Hospitals, facilities, Physician Groups and IPAs)
Healthcare Expertise: Knowledge of the DFW (or other geographies) provider landscape and existing relationships with key regional stakeholders and the knowledge/ability to leverage expertise in expansion markets
Builder Mindset: You are energized by the '0 to 1' phase and prefer building your own processes over following a pre-existing manual
Analytical Literacy: Ability to use data to map markets, identify coverage gaps, and report on recruitment velocity
Strong communication skills: Ability to engage, persuade, and build relationships over the phone and email
