Kägwerks designs and develops rugged communications technologies for war fighters. They are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design and build automated test solutions, ensuring the reliability and performance of their embedded systems.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure embedded software quality and reliability

Work with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and define test coverage

Verify embedded system software interfaces and requirements

Develop automated test software for embedded Linux, Windows, and Android platforms

Participate in design reviews, application testing, and prototype evaluations

Create and execute software test plans and document results

Support additional engineering activities as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering (or similar)

Strong Linux development experience (applications, containers, VMs)

Experience testing networking and routing (Ethernet, IP, VLANs, bridging)

Experience testing system performance and power efficiency

Strong software test automation skills

Experience working in both Microsoft and Linux environments
