Qualification

Intense exposure to national politics and Congress
Ability to work in a fast pace and under deadline pressure
Experience in writing and reporting
Ability to assist reporters and take assignments to the Capitol and the halls of Congress
Willingness to perform clerical duties, including assisting at events hosted by The Hill
Responsibility for own lodging and travel
Familiarity with The Hill before applying
Submission of the semester for which you're applying
Submission of the beginning and ending dates of your internship
Submission of the days of the week you're available
Submission of the hours you are available
Submission of a resume, cover letter and information on any academic programs in Washington you are participating in
