Human Services Program Consultant III - CQI Specialist

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest agencies in the state, responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of North Carolinians. The CQI Specialist will monitor, train, and provide technical assistance to county child support programs, focusing on improving program performance and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight of county administration including:
Act as the primary contact for counties
Provide technical assistance to counties
Provide basic system functionality guidance to counties
Oversee Program Performance including:
Utilizing county specific and regional data to identify areas of improvement
Conduct regionalized supervision by monitoring programs, providing feedback, and conducting IRS inspections
Utilize county specific and regional data regarding program performance measures to identify areas of deficiency or non-compliance and develop a continuous quality improvement plan

Required

Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of related experience; or Bachelor's degree in a discipline relative to the program area from an appropriately accredited institution and six years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

Demonstrated Experience in compliance monitoring, program reviews, and resource management
Experience with the North Carolina Child Support
Proven experience in leadership and organization
Experience in analyzing and evaluating programs and the development and presentation of reports
Proven experience using the Automated Collection and Tracking System
Demonstrated knowledge of the federal regulations, state statues, policies and procedures that govern child support services
Ability to travel extensively overnight
