New Grad, Entry Level24 Seven Talent is representing a well-known fashion brand seeking a Freelance Associate Technical Designer specializing in intimates and swim. This role supports the technical product development process, ensuring consistency of fit, construction, and quality across the assigned product category while collaborating with various teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Support the technical design process across development through fit approval
Collaborate with Technical Design, Product Development, and Design teams to support fit direction and garment details
Create and maintain tech packs, including specifications, points of measurement, and garment measurements
Review and prepare garments prior to fittings, identifying design, specification, and construction discrepancies
Participate in fitting meetings and generate clear, complete fit comments with photos and updated measurements
Track fit approvals and sample progress; log incoming samples and schedule fittings
Communicate daily with vendors, Design, and Product Development teams
Maintain organized documentation and support general technical design processes
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
Experience in Technical Design, Patternmaking, Quality Assurance, or equivalent hands-on experience
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PLM systems
Basic understanding of garment fit, construction, fabrics, and fabric performance
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and provide clear feedback
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, adapt to change, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
4-year degree in Fashion Merchandising or Design preferred
Retail or garment manufacturing experience preferred
