Responsibilities
Engage in curriculum planning and development, including specification of learner outcomes, content design, instructional delivery formats, strategies, and media
Execute project plans and adhere to timelines for all learning projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods in creating instructor-led courses, online modules, web-based learning aids, and other learning technologies
Ensure online materials comply with system requirements and accessibility standards
Collaborate with customers, subject matter experts, instructors, and business leaders to develop materials based on provided information
Upload and maintain content documentation and course folders in systems such as SharePoint and LMS
Maintain courses by editing and publishing updates as needed per customer requirements or governance processes
Manage projects and meet timelines with minimal supervision
Apply adult education principles across classroom and e-learning technologies
Initiate, plan, organize, monitor, and report own work; provide leadership to project teams when appropriate
Research and advocate for new innovations in learning design and education, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Experience with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360), animation software, and other development tools required
Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
Experience managing projects required
Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship management skills required
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and obtain results with minimal supervision
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Training experience (formal or informal) in power generation, power delivery, transmission, construction, or related fields preferred
Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, narration software, and implementation of AI software in instructional design preferred
Experience/proficiency with Learning Management Systems strongly preferred
