Responsibilities
Designs, develops and tests designated project work for the campus Solutions and ImageNow University application
Analyzes, designs and creates specifications for PeopleSoft application functionalities and/or requirements
Analyzes and understands vendor interfaces and related business processes
Develops, customizes, reports, interfaces and new processes using PeopleSoft tools and other 3rd party tools
Utilizes SOL, SOR, PS/Query, and PeopleTools to build functionality
Provides assistance to all phases in the project set up & prototyping, design, development, conversion, testing, deployment
Develops data management scripts
Assists with providing proof of concept through extensive prototyping project stakeholders and end users, and propose technical solutions
Assists with technical expert addressing problems related to systems integration, compatibility and multiple platform integration. This includes guidance related to general and portal-specific software design, development processes, security, infrastructure, migration paths, and deployment best practices
Diagnoses and resolves PeopleSoft system related errors to ensure the accuracy of business critical systems. Researches questions with respect to both maintenance and development activities. Interacts with database administrators, security analysts and business system users in this effort
Coordinates with vendors when necessary to resolve issues
Performs related duties as required or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position
Performs essential duties in any emergencies such as hurricanes, storms, and/or any other university emergency closing. The employee is expected to be available to report to work as needed during university emergency closing with appropriate notification of a department administrator
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science

Bachelor's degree in engineering
