Responsibilities
Execute audit, review, and compilation procedures in compliance with GAAS and SSARS
Prepare and review financial statements, workpapers, and supporting schedules
Directly communicate with clients to request information, explain findings, and deliver a positive client experience
Identify and resolve accounting and audit issues in collaboration with managers and partners
Contribute to engagement planning, budgeting, and project management
Provide coaching and oversight to staff associates during fieldwork
Stay current with evolving U.S. GAAP and audit standards relevant to client industries
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
CPA license or active progress toward CPA completion strongly preferred
3+ years of public accounting experience with emphasis on attest/audit work
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and related professional standards
Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/oral communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit software (e.g., CCH Engagement, CaseWare, etc.)
Working knowledge of corporate and individual tax return preparation
