Senior Director, Digital Strategy

The Senior Director of Digital Strategy is responsible for managing the Digital Strategy team, overseeing the execution of strategic marketing campaigns, and fostering client relationships to ensure effective digital marketing strategies are implemented.

Responsibilities
Manage a team of paid digital media strategists who are responsible for media planning and reporting on clients’ campaigns executed via Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads Manager, Google Display & Video 360 DSP, Snapchat Ads Manager, and others platforms
Directly oversee the daily workflow of the department and client
Supervise team members’ career growth and development
Actively participate in interviewing, selection, onboarding, and training of new Digital Team staff
Keep a close eye on the Digital Division’s bottom line, ensuring all campaigns are running for a profit and internal revenue goals are met
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
Continually evaluate the effectiveness and client experience delivered through reporting and analysis of paid campaigns to ensure they meet client needs
Analyze data in aggregate, identify short-term and long-term trends, and make thoughtful recommendations accordingly
Foster client-agency relationships through involvement in proposal pitches and initial client kick-offs, and through supervisory account oversight
Identify digital business opportunities and design the media plan to drive an effective digital marketing strategy and sound tactical execution
Provide expert knowledge and guidance on digital strategies for clients as needed
Facilitate and encourage cross-divisional communication and collaboration for smooth internal communication and a seamless client experience
Work closely with other Digital Team leaders to improve processes, identify opportunities for expanded service and product offerings, and develop new business goals
Keep up-to-date on digital landscape trends, emerging platforms, and industry news
Qualification
Required
Clear oral and written communication skills, both internally and externally to confidently speak to and present on campaign performance with both clients and internal Digital team members
Experience analyzing and reporting on data trends with a full understanding of digital marketing KPIs and success metrics
Experience using and analyzing data visualization tools such as Google Looker Studio and Google Analytics
Highly skilled with team management and personnel dynamics
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multitask in a deadline-driven atmosphere
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, utilizing resources to work independently and troubleshoot arising issues before escalating to senior team members
Due to the remote environment, effective communication and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
Physical requirement: Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
Bachelor's degree required; Marketing/Advertising major or concentration preferred
5 or more years of experience with digital media planning and/or execution of digital marketing campaigns
Minimum of 2 years of management experience with direct reports required
Direct experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and/or Google Display & Video 360 or other DSP required
Deep experience in managing a team of marketing professionals
Preferred
Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications a plus
Experience with Asana or other project management software tools a plus
